IVF Cost in Dubai & Abu Dhabi (2026)

One of the first questions people ask about IVF is: how much will it actually cost? The honest answer in the UAE is "it depends", and most clinics only give a firm price after a consultation. So instead of guessing, this guide uses the prices clinics and the government actually publish, tells you where each number comes from, and shows you what to ask so you can compare quotes properly.

These are the prices we could verify from clinic price lists, the government Dubai Fertility Center's published list, and recent press reporting. Every figure is in UAE dirhams.

What this means in practice: very few private clinics publish a full IVF price. Of those that do, Conceive quotes AED 5,000–25,000 depending on the case, and ART Fertility Clinics' all-inclusive package (IVF/ICSI, PGT-A, freezing and a frozen transfer, with medication) is AED 39,000. The government Dubai Fertility Center's published fees are AED 14,000 for IVF and AED 18,000 for ICSI, but they exclude all medication and some tests. Most clinics quote only after a consultation, so treat any single number as a starting point.

Medication can be one of the largest costs and is often quoted separately. No clinic we checked publishes a standalone medication price, because it depends on your protocol and dose. Ask every clinic for a written medication estimate before you compare totals.

Dubai. Private prices vary widely by clinic and by what is included. ART Fertility Clinics and Conceive are among the few that publish prices. Fakih IVF (which lists only storage renewal fees online), Bourn Hall and Orchid do not publish a full IVF price on their websites, so you will need a quote after consultation. Abu Dhabi. In the published prices we found, Abu Dhabi is not consistently more or less expensive than Dubai. ART Fertility Clinics charges the same package prices in both cities. For UAE nationals, the bigger difference is Thiqa, which covers IVF at participating centres. Government. Dubai Health's Dubai Fertility Center in Al Jaddaf is the government option with a published price list. It is open to residents and visitors as well as nationals, and Emirati couples who qualify for the Al Amal initiative are treated free. We could not find a published self-pay price list for a government IVF service in Abu Dhabi.

Egg Freezing Costs

For the "price to freeze eggs", published packages in October 2026 were:

ART Fertility Clinics (Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai): AED 15,500, including consultation, medication and one year of storage.
Bourn Hall: AED 15,000 to 20,000 or more, depending on medication needs (as reported by The National).
First IVF, Abu Dhabi: AED 25,500 (as reported by The National).
Dubai Fertility Center (government, 2022 list): AED 9,000 for egg collection plus AED 3,500 for freezing and the first year's storage, with medication extra.

What Is Included, and What Costs Extra

What one clinic includes, another charges for separately. A typical IVF cycle involves:

Consultation and baseline tests for both partners (blood tests, ultrasound, semen analysis)
Medication to stimulate the ovaries, a trigger injection and hormone support after transfer
Monitoring scans and blood tests during stimulation
Egg collection under sedation, including anaesthesia
Laboratory work: fertilisation (IVF or ICSI), embryo culture, often to blastocyst stage
Embryo transfer
Freezing and storage of any extra embryos
Optional add-ons: genetic testing (PGT), assisted hatching, time-lapse imaging and others

The Dubai Fertility Center's packages, for example, include a set number of follow-up consultations and scans, but exclude all medication, other blood tests, pregnancy scans and extra procedures. ART Fertility Clinics' AED 39,000 package includes medication, but storage and additional cycles are billed separately. Always ask for an itemised quote.

ART Fertility Clinics markets its AED 39,000 package as "IVF with Gender Selection". The price is useful as a benchmark for a full cycle that includes PGT-A, but you do not need gender selection to ask about a PGT-A package.

Insurance and Government Coverage

Thiqa (Abu Dhabi): Thiqa is a single government programme for UAE nationals, and its fertility benefit follows one Department of Health policy. It covers medically necessary IVF and related treatment, with up to six egg retrievals and three embryo transfer cycles per patient per year, for women aged 18 to 47, with pre-authorisation. Medication and genetic testing are covered when they meet the policy criteria and are pre-approved. Since October 2025, it also covers social egg freezing for eligible single women aged 30 to 45.

Al Amal (Dubai): Eligible Emirati couples can receive free fertility treatment, including IVF, at Dubai Health's Fertility Center.

Private insurance: Dubai's Essential Benefits Plan explicitly excludes infertility treatment and IVF, and many private plans do too. Diagnostic tests and treatment of underlying conditions are sometimes covered, so check your policy wording.

Compare Like for Like

Understand Packages

Some clinics offer all-inclusive packages, multi-cycle packages or refund programmes. These can make budgeting easier, but check what is excluded, what happens if a cycle is cancelled, and the eligibility conditions for any refund.

Ask About Payment Plans

Many clinics accept instalments or work with financing providers. Ask about interest, deposits and cancellation terms.

Don't Sacrifice Quality for Cost

The cheapest quote is not always the cheapest outcome. A cycle that has to be repeated costs more than one that works.
