Why We Exist

Fertility struggles are more common in the UAE than most people realise. One in six couples here will face challenges when trying to start or grow their family. That is a lot of people going through one of the most emotionally demanding experiences of their lives.

And yet, when these couples start looking for information, what do they find? Clinic websites focused on selling services. Medical journals written for doctors, not patients. Forums full of outdated advice and conflicting opinions. Information about laws and regulations that no longer apply since the 2023 changes.

We watched friends, colleagues, and loved ones struggle through this. We saw them spend hours trying to understand their diagnoses, their options, and what treatment actually costs in the UAE. We saw them feel alone in a country where fertility is rarely discussed openly.

We knew there had to be a better way.

Who We Are

We are a small collective of UAE-based individuals who came together with a shared mission: to create the resource we wished existed.

We are not a clinic. We are not selling treatments or promoting specific doctors. We have no financial relationships with fertility providers.

What we are is a group of people who believe that everyone facing fertility challenges deserves access to clear, accurate, and compassionate information. Why Rumman?

Rumman is the Arabic word for pomegranate. We chose this name because the pomegranate has been a symbol of fertility, abundance, and new life across cultures for thousands of years.

In the Middle East and Mediterranean, the pomegranate appears in ancient art, religious texts, and traditional medicine as a blessing for families hoping to grow. Its many seeds represent possibility and potential.

We liked the idea of a name rooted in this region's heritage. And we liked what it represents: hope, carried gently in something natural and beautiful.

What We Believe

Knowledge reduces fear. When you understand what is happening in your body and what your options are, the journey becomes a little less overwhelming. We want to replace confusion with clarity.
